The pop up store
Det finns en liten pop up store på Fredsgatan 20 i Vasa där man kan köpa konstverk av många olika konstnärer. Här är några av mina bilder i butiken. Butiken håller öppet 11-18 varje dag utom söndag (12-18) till och med 16.12.

Susanne Hedmans utställning på galleri Torni
Utställningen pågår till och med 17.2 på galleri Torni i Vasa. Öppettiderna är ti-to 12-18 och lö-sö 12-16.

First picture from the film The soul is a tree
I’m making a trailer for a short film called The soul is a tree. Don’t confuse it with the exhibition The soul is a tree which will start the 17th of September in Vasa, Finland. But since the theme is the same in the exhibition as in the film I choose to use the same title for both. The film will hopefully evolve into a longer project, but films cost money to make so lets see what happens with this one. Financing is every filmmakers nightmare! No money no film. Let’s hope for the best this time.

Trees and shadows
First B & W photographs taken with a Canon 50D, 70-200mm lens. Photographs in color with a Canon IXUS 220HS compact.
Jorduggla på flykt
Så här ser det ut när en kråka jagar en jorduggla. Jordugglan kom nära kråkornas bo och så jagades den iväg. Fotad med en Canon 50D, 70-200mm telezoom och en 1.4 extender.
Bild från ett videokonstverk
Här i dagarna har jag haft fullt upp med att hjälpa konstnären Esther Pilkington med hennes videokonstverk. Det har varit bråttom minsann, så jag får väl pusta ut nån annan gång. Videokonstverket är en ca. 30 minuter lång video med musikern Panu Sivonen, som spelar “the second oboe” (den andra oboen) ensam utan tillhörande orkester. Stycket som spelas är Händels Water Music, Suite 1. Videon kan ses på Kuntsi, museumet för modern konst i Vasa och ingår i samutställningen To have – To own. Den pågår till och med den 31.1.2012.
